It’s finally official. As I reported yesterday, Samsung held a press event to announce a new product. What was it? well, they announced the Galaxy SIII Mini.
So, let’s kick off with the specs, It’s got a 4-inch screen(0.8 inches smaller than the Galaxy SIII). The screen itself will have a screen resolution of 400×800 which in an AMOLED screen.
On the inside you have a 1GHz CPU, a five-megapixel camera on the back of the phone. On the storage front, you will be able to stick a 32GB micro SD card in there to expand the amount of storage you have on there. On the software side, you will get the latest version of Android on this device(Jelly Bean AKA 4.1). You will also get S Voice(Samsung’s version of Siri) and S Beam(the ability to send files between Galaxy SIII Mini).
At this time, Samsung has not revealed any pricing or release dates. However, I will report them as soon as I get them.
Update: There is no 4G in this phone
