Some of you may have heard of a company called Interplay(the people behind the Earthworm Jim PC games and the Fallout PC game). Well, Good Old Games(an online retro game store) is doing a special offer for their entire catalogue of Interplay titles. For these next two weeks, you will be able to pay what you want and get up to a whole catalogue of 32 games.
However, you have to pay a minimum of $0.99(£0.62) but you will get a minimum of 8 games(including VR soccer 96, Screamer, and Jagged Alliance 2) which would normally set you back $48 (£30). If you pay above the average price, then you will get at least 20 of the 32 Interplay catalogue. If you pay at least $34.99(£21.81), then you will get all 32 games which would normally cost approximately $200(£125).
I should warn you that this offer is only going to be available for two weeks from today so make sure that you jump on this as soon as possible.
I know that the Humble Indie Bundle already does this, but it’s good to see these kinds of offers being run. Not only does it allow people to support the companies that make their favourite games, but it also allows people to pay what they think the games are worth. By the way, if you’re on a Mac, then you will need DOSBox(along with boxer – my favourite DOSBox frontend) in order to play some of these games. I am most probably going to pay a couple of dollars and go for the 8 games just so I can get Screamer and VR soccer.
