The British Film institute(BFI) has launched a new project called “film forever”. As a part of this initiative, the BFI will be converting 10,000 films to digital format over the next 5 years. You will have both free and paid options for watching these films, including YouTube and some other undisclosed services.
During this week Valve started selling non-game software titles(apps) through Steam. The list of the first titles available for download included ArtRage Studio Pro, CameraBag 2, GameMaker: Studio(available from steam for free), 3D-Coat, 3DMark Vantage, and 3DMark 11.
This week also marked the 1-year anniversary of the death of the late Steve Jobs(former CEO of Apple). Apple had put up a short video tribute on their site which featured some of Steve Jobs’ greatest moments.
